Beth's Anniversary Card

Good Morning!

A quick card share for you this morning!

My friend Beth was here and needed to make a card for her friend who was having her first wedding anniversary. The person who the card is for is clean and simple, and her colors were pear pizazz and concord crush. (stampin up's in colors). I love how stampin up stays ahead of the fashion trends.

Measurements:
Base: Vanilla 11 x 4 1/4"
Layer 2: Pear Pizazz 5 x 3 3/4"
Layer 3: In color DSP (hostess reward) 4 7/8" x 3 5/8"
Layer 4: Vanilla 4 7/8" x 3 5/8" (embossed, and inked by running a sponge over the top with Pear Pizazz ink
Layer 5: 1/2" paper strip

We also embosssed the envelope! :D So just emboss layer 4 with your big shot and cut the non embossed areas away to expose your designer paper! Super simple and easy, but a wow!

We are running out the door today with 3 different parties... I just wanted to share this beautiful card with you all! Have a great weekend!

So super pretty! Love the delicate elegance of the rose. What kind of sponge did you use for the rose? I would think that the sponge would get some ink on the non raised portion...?

Very pretty! I love how you layered the roses on top of the DSP. Great idea!
