3/12 Feeling Lucky? St Patricks Day Card

Good Afternoon Friends!

Yes, I'm feeling LUCKY Today!  It's been QUITE the week!  Tomorrow, I'm stamping with assisted living in a few locations.  It's my way of giving back to the community and sharing what I love with elderly folks who don't get out of the house much!

There's more!!
I'm going to toot my horn a little here!  {warning}  This week, I passed my 200K in career Sales mark and I'm doing it on the week of my 7th Anniversary with Stampin' Up!  I'm also hoping that by the end of the week, I will have earned the get away trip from stampin up! and I'm on track to earning the Grand Vacation Cruise!

A big shout out to you and gracious appreciation for supporting me.  If it wasn't for EVERY single customer and friend who supports my business, I would NEVER have the opportunity to be a stay at home mom and do what I love, and TRAVEL!

45 Day's till Fiji and I've never been more grateful.  Wow, I love my job!

Thank you!

Love,

Mojo Monday on Tuesday

Good Morning Friends!

I vowed to get a card up on my blog this morning and I made it!  It's still morning!  I have been doing lots of stamping parties and just have been crazy busy, which is a blessing!  :)

As I walked through the grocery store this morning there were two different types of music playing.  The one on the overhead speaker, then there was a tiny little boom box BLARING some Irish music.  (Turn one off please  LOL).

As a first generation Irish-American, I had a little chuckle and thought it would be nice to finally get the answer to the age old question...

Yes, why do they call it the "Irish Hour" when the music goes on all day?

My mom would listen all weekend!  I chuckled through the rest of the store with a great big smile on my face.  I'm sure some folks were wondering why I was smiling.  A little joke can keep me laughing all day.  :)

It carried over when I got home.  All my St. Patricks Day cards went to the florist for sale.  People have been requesting St. Patrick's day cards.  Therefore, I have an Irish owl to share today.  As soon as the glitter dries, this one is going to my mom.

I am planning to have a FANTABULOUS St Patricks Day!!  I'm starting it off with an open house here!  I'll be selling every retired stamp set I own for a fraction of what I paid for it!   I've seen some of what's coming up, and I need to make some room!  If you're local to me, come on by and take a peek through what I've got!  The open house will run from 11-3.  I hope you can make it.

If you're a club member, Lucky You!  You can come by on Friday and be the first to pick through my goodies!  So exciting!!

So how about some measurements?

Base:  8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Layer 2: garden green 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Layer 3: Vanilla 5 x 3 3/4"
Layer 4: Twitterpatted DSP 3 3/4" square.
Layer 5: 3 1/2" x 1 garden green
Layer 6: twitterpatted 2 5/8" x 2 1/8"
Layer 7: Garden green 2 1/2" x 2"
Layer 8: vanilla 2 3/8 x 1 7/8"

That's all for today!  I hope you walk around with a smile today.

Talk to you soon!

Another Green Dream ~ Card for My Mom

Good Afternoon Friends!

I stole away a few minutes to stamp while I was listening to a leadership call on stampin up!  We get the coolest access to the latest training right through the site as demonstrators.  Today, Tami White told us all about her thoughts on recruiting.

I came away from the call thinking to myself "If you are true to who you are, and do a good job at whatever you have your heart set on, you can't mess up!" Whatever you have passion for and put hard work into, will pay off in the end.   Tami did a fabulous job and I feel a renewed enthusiasm.

This card is PERFECT for my mom.  She's a huge tea drinker and has a method for making the "right" cup of tea.  First you have to heat the cup.  Pour that water out, then make it in the hot cup.  Too cool..

I have been stalking some of the challenge sites this week.  The sketch for this card came from the paper players challenge, and the colors came from a challenge over on Split Coast stampers.

The color challenge is Lucky Limeade, river rock and Garden Green

In the picture my st patricks day looks a little gummy, but it's actually super uber glittery in real life.  There are also glittery dots on each dot of the tea cups.  I'm so addicted to the dazzling details glitter glue! It's only $2.50 and it adds so much pizazz to projects!  :D

Okay... So how about some measurements?

Base: garden green 8 1/2 x 5 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Layer 2: Everyday Enchantment DSP (which i got FREE) I love the lucky limeade pattern here 4 x 5 1/4"
Layer 3: very vanilla 4 3/4" x 3 1/2", embossed with the vintage wallpaper embossing folder.
Layer 4: Garden Green 3 1/8" x 1 7/8"
Layer 5: Very Vanilla 3 x 1 3/4"
The happy st patricks layer was punched with the label punch, then I just cut a second punch in half and spread it out, attaching it to the back  (hope that makes sense).

Very Glittery, very fun!  My mom will love getting this one in the mail.  :D
Hugs to you,
Selene~
