Although that may be a little bit of an exaggeration, I am TOTALLY digging the Designer Cuts Note Cards from Stampin Up! Seriously?? How can something so easy to make be so darn cute! I had a stamp a stack over the course of the day yesterday, and I have to say, this trio of cards was quick and a favorite among both my new stampers and those who have been stamping with me for years!
I used all the heart cuts I purchased for my clubs this month and thought I was going to be stumped on this one, until I picked up the Kindness Matters Stamp Set that I got for free with my $50 sale a bration purchase.
The prep for this was unbelievably simple. I cut a piece of blushing bride card stock down to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" (this is just slightly smaller than a quarter sheet of card stock. So, I got 4 from a sheet of paper.
Each of my guests could pick which pleated ribbon they wanted, they added snail adhesive to the front of the note card, then laid the pleated ribbon right on top.
Next, they added a LARGE pearl, they are in the mini catalog. I ran out of them on the green card and just added some from the main catalog. I was having so much fun I added some more pearls to the center of the large butterfly in the middle.
I love how this card is sitting together. There are 3 butterflies, and 3 patterned elements on the die cut card. These are SO Fabulous in person and they go together in minutes.
I had a few ladies last night ask me about getting this stamp set for free on their next order. If you wanted everything to make these note cards, you could do it and get the stamp set for free. Below a potential shopping list:
** Note: If you prefer the wood mount stamp set the SAB FREE item number is 127723 (with a $50 order). Don't forget snail adhesive for the ribbon if you need it!
Also, if you are a customer and would LOVE the 36 page set of customer directions to my "stinkin cute" embossing class, they come free with a $50 purchase. After you've made your online purchase, just email me with the request for your class. I'll eventually have more to choose from. For more details on that class to go click here.
Well, I'm off to stamp something fun for tomorrow. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Rubbah hugs,
Selene Kempton
