Stampin' Up! Bloom & Grow CASE-ing Tuesday #204

Hello, Stampers!

I just love the sketch this week for the CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch challenge.

Want to play along?  We have a dedicated Facebook group for everyone to play you can find at this link.

My card this week is super simple. I had so much fun playing with Bloom & Grow Stamp set and the petals washi Tape!

I used a 1 3/8" scalloped circle punch to build my washi flower on, then I added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back.

I set that aside for a moment and stamped the sentiment and main image onto layer 3.

Here is the video that shows the new Petals Washi Tape:

I used the Mossy Meadow Blends and the color lifter to color the leaves. I added Wink of Stella to the flowers to add some shine!

Here is the sketch that I went by, and the original catalog card we copied from page 46 of the annual catalog.  Isn't it gorgeous?

Here is a current shopping list for this if you happen to need anything. :)

Stampin Up, Daisy Lane, Pretty Peacock Foil, Facebook Live Replay video, Case-ing Tuesday #203

 Good Morning Friends!

I have some pretty cards to share with you today!  Yesterday, I did a video to introduce the Daisy Lane Medium punch to everyone.  I had so much fun breaking it out of the box!  If you want to see more samples as the week goes on, I'll be posting them in my private facebook group online, Creating with Selene.

So Let's jump in!

First here's a link to the video so you can see the treatment for the daisy punch.  These are both using the "hug" method to put them together.  I also showed using the stylus ball to make the flowers look more like nature petals!

Here's the card I created that matches the bundle for Case-ing Tuesday bloggers group!  The sketch was a little outside my comfort zone but I love the 1/8" strips now that it's all done! A challenging one!

This card I posted today, without the strips, and it's easy on the eyes!  I used the new 3D script embossing folder, and I did fussy cut those ferns.  So worth the time put in!

I used a "light" old olive blend to color the 3/8" silver edged ribbon!  It makes me so happy that I can color those to match!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  If you need any of these products, know that I appreciate your order!  The current host code is:

Stampin Up! Above the Clouds - One Sheet Wonder and Pretty Peacock

Good Morning Friends!

I made a whole bunch of cards using the Above The Clouds Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! on this week's live video.  If you want to catch the replay, here's the link.

After I was done with the video I had a TON of leftover pieces.  So I took the Pretty Peacock leftovers and made 8 more projects.  Based on the video, if I did this with all the cutoff pieces, I would have ended up with 60 cards!

However, I'm getting ready for my catalog launch party next Saturday, June 15th, so I just did it for one of the colors for now.  Want more info on the Catalog Launch?  It's in person or can be to go anywhere in the United States. You'll need your own stamps and ink, but I do the rest!  Here's a link for that event with tons of details.

So here is the original set of cards, with the designer paper cut to 5 x 3 3/4"

I had a bunch of scraps left over. To use them up, I created a one sheet wonder for just one of the colors. If I did this with all the scraps, I would have ended up with 60 cards!
Here is my 6x6 one sheet wonder, in Pretty Peacock. I love this new color!
Measurements for the Designer Paper:
Card1: 5 x 3 3/4"
Card2: 4 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Card3: 1" strip

Thank you so much for visiting today!

Selene

Stampin' Up! Above the clouds, CASE-ing Tuesday Bloggers Challenge and a brand New Catalog - 20 cards LIVE, video replay

Hello Friends,

It is finally here!

The first day of the BRAND NEW CATALOG!  Woot Woot!

If you need a catalog and have ordered from me in the past year, just pop me an email and I'll put one in the mail to you!

I am SO very excited about this year's offerings including the new in color selections.  Please note there was an issue with the Purple Posy Inkpad (that I show on the video), but in Stampin' Up fashion.  The item has been turned off until the product is perfect!  I am SO grateful they won't send you something that isn't right, you know what I mean?

Here's a peek at the colors on an electronic file so you get the best look possible!

Here are the hex codes if you need them, so you can match any electronic files you have to the correct shade of cardstock.

So, I'm super excited that I kicked the catalog off this morning with a sketch challenge from CASE-ing Tuesday #202, and I made 20 cards with the sketch, and half a pack of the brand new in color designer paper.

I added some of the in color ribbon and made it in every shade, with every patterned offered in the package so you could see!  I also did some ink "paper edging" and showed why it's important to sometimes "stamp off."

Here is the sketch that we were working with:

Here is the replay of that LIVE video from this morning.

I changed up the measurements for my card a little bit.  Here is what I did:

Base Layer: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4"
Layer 3: 3 3/4" x 2 3/4

Some of the cards had squares for sentiments, they were 1 3/8"

I hope you enjoy the video!
