1/4 Stampin Up! Saleabration & Occasions Kickoff Hello You Thinlits, Crazy about you, You make me happy Card

Good Evening!

One more thing to do before I head to bed for the evening! 

This is just a reminder that today (Monday Jan 5th) is the last day to register for the most wonderful catalog kickoff event ever!  I started this event as a way to train my team, and have added in customers and friends from all over.  Demonstrators have come up from cape cod, and down from Maine!  Everyone is welcome.

I know that there are a few regular ladies away on vacation!  We are SO going to miss you, but there are plenty of people that are ready to party!

Each person will receive

• a sheet of dimensionals, 
• the two new catalogs,
• a full roll of seam binding ribbon in crumb cake
• a full package of doilies that will be used on your cards (you keep the extras) and...
• a special gift for you to bring home and use on your cards there

Plus, you get all of the pre-cut packets to assemble your 16 cards.  All the work has been done for you so I hope you can come and enjoy and let me spoil you for an afternoon!

Did I mention the gorgeous new location?  This hotel is so beautiful and we are planning to hang out and have dinner after with anyone who wishes to stay. 

Here's one of the cards we will be making!  We make a total of four projects from the Hello You and Crazy about you bundle from Stampin Up!  I can't wait to see everyone next Sunday!  I'll be working to make the event super spectacular.

12/31 Stampin Up! Occasions Sneak Peek, You Plus Me Bundle, You're sweet, New Bow Punch, Stacked with Love

Good Morning Friends!

Here's another fun project share to celebrate the new catalog that's coming January 6th.

I love that Stampin Up will be bundling this paper pack and Stamp set together to give you a 15% discount!  {happy dance}!

For this one, i started with a Calypso Coral card base cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" and scored it down the middle at 4 1/4".  I ran it through my big shot and embossed the whole front panel of the card.  I just switched my platform to no tabs, and left the back part of the card out, by folding it under.  :)

next I added a strip of Designer paper which measures 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" and a 1/2" by 5 1/2" strip of real red cardstock.

The real red layer above that measures at 3 x 2 1/4"
and I stamped the sentiment using stampin write markers in Calypso Coral and real red on a piece of Whisper white measuring 2 3/4" x 2"

I punched two real red punches from the new bow punch!  It's really fabulous!  I used a bone folder to gently bend the paper to get the bow to pop up.  I used tombo liquid adhesive to stick it together (used a tiny amount so it wouldn't be all over the place.  When you punch out the shape, you need two to complete the bow and you have an extra little rectangle left over.  I finished it with a self adhesive rhinestone!  Quick but cute!

12/30 Stampin Up! Occasions Catalog 2015 Sneak Peek Hey, Valentine with measurements

Good Morning Friends!

I have a fun project to share with you from the Hey, Valentine stamp set from Stampin' Up! This little pirate is so adorable, and no matter how old your valentine is, I think you could have some pirate fun with this one!  

 

Measurements:

Base Layer: Ready card base (crumb cake) measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, and comes pre scored at 4 1/4"

Layer 2: Real Red, 5 1/4 x 4

Layer 3: 3 x 3 3/4 vellum, heart pattern

Layer 4: 5 1/4 x 1" Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Pack

Layer 5: Crumb cake, 3 x 2 1/2"

Layer 6: Whisper white 2 3/4 x 2 1/4"

I stamped my pirate in momento ink, because I wanted to color his face with blendabilities skin tones.  I used nude, to color his whole face, and added "blush" color to his cheeks.

Next, I used crumb cake, real red, gold, black and yellow markers to color the image.  Although I think the skin tone color of his face makes him look real!  I tied a crumb cake bow and just used a glue dot to attach it to the front of my card.  Easy and fun!  The only big suggestion I would remind you of, if you are making one of these is not to put the adhesive on the vellum where it will show up.  Make sure no matter what adhesive you use, it stays behind the gold foil that's built into the vellum.
