My Dream Trip ~ A Heartfelt Request

Good Morning Friends,

This is a card that I cased, and changed up a bit. The original was created by my good friend Suzie Wood. She's such a talented artist. I changed her colors a bit and used this one for my stamp club last month. It was one of their favorites!

I've never really considered myself a sales person. For those of you who know me well.. you know only too well, that I will stop you from buying something you don't actually need. :) It's just who I am.

Over the next month, I'm going to be asking for help from everyone who knows me and who likes to do paper crafts.

For those of you that read my blog, and share with me in my artwork... I thank you..
I really do put my heart and soul into my work as a Stampin' Up demonstrator and I share all that I do, with anyone that asks freely...

For as long as I can remember, my husband and I have dreamed about going to Alaska... and this year, we've had some financial challenges but I've managed to keep my stamping business (and myself) afloat, and I managed to turn a VERY modest profit this year.

Part of what has kept me afloat was my friends... Thank GOD for all my stamping friends... Demonstrators, customers and just friends, please know that I love you all very much.

This morning, Stampin' Up announced double points for the incentive trip to Alaska. What that means for me, is that I would have to sell half as much between now and the end of June to earn the trip which **to me** seems like an astronomical amount all together, but broken down, it almost seems doable.

This morning I was on the phone with my friend Robin, and WE collectively decided to try. She actually told me that I was going to do it... Still unsure how to complete such a task, I guess I just am going to ask.

Would you help me attain my dream?

So ~ here's what I need... I need to close Fifty ~ $150 parties, between now and the end of June (that means if you collect $150 in orders for me, you get the hostess benefits) Or I need to collect 160 $50 orders or any combination thereof. However it works out, if there are hostess benefits attached, I will give them back to you (of course).

There is no possible way, in the position that I am in, that I could do this alone. I will be calling everyone I know and asking for help. If you feel supported by me creatively and would like to place an order, or do a party in the next 30-40 days, please contact me. You can shop online 24 hours a day 7 days a week at my website.

Although I rarely post links to my online store, I'm going to try it! And I'm going to try and earn Alaska.

Click here, then click "shop now" in the upper right hand corner to see if there's anything that you might want or need, and help me at the same time. If you've been waiting to buy your big shot, now would be an awesome time!

Thank you in advance for your support. If I can do this, it would surprise me. Either way, I thank you for being a part of my life. ((((hugs))))

What an elegant card! I love it and the color combination that you used. I really like the embossed background.

Hey Selene! I am glad to hear that you want to do this. Although I am the same type of person and it would be a big challenge, I hope you will make it through with a lot of support from your friends.
Wishing you the best of luck!
