Everything is Rosy, by Stampin' Up, Cards 12, 13 and 14 (of 29)

Good Morning Friends!

I have another batch of cards for you today using this awesome bundle!

First - Chris, thank you for your comments!  They will keep me smiling and blogging.  I love that you appreciate the posts!

Okay! let's get started! Card 12, I want to thank my friend Julie Davidson for the inspiration for the layout on this one!  I changed it up a bit, but she inspired this card!

If you missed the original video of how I set up for these cards - and created the first six LIVE on the fly, here is the replay:

Card 12 Measurements:

Base Layer: 11 x 4 1/4", scored and folded in half at 5 1/2", stamped with a leaf stamp in Night of Navy.
Layer 2: one of the pre-die cut shapes from the pack, cut in half and adhered to the back of layer 3 on both sides.
Layer 3: Whisper White 4" x 2 3/4"
Layer 4: Striped layer on the left (came from the back of the pink floral pattern DSP, out of the same kit, 2 1/2" x 1"
Layer 5: Rose Gold Leaf Pattern, 2 1/2" x 1 3/8"
Layer 6: Thank you is stamped on a precut piece that comes in the kit. Adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Lucky 13!  The star of this card, that you don't quite see from the photographs is the Rose gold adhesive backed mirror embellishments. They are really hard, just like glass and you can feel that when they come off the transfer sheet.

Self-adhesive, shiny glassy awesomeness.

Card 13 Measurements:
Base Layer: Thick Whisper White 8 1/2" x 5 1/2, scored and folded in half
Layer 2: Night of Navy 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Layer 3: Whisper White: 3 7/8" x 2 3/8"
Layer 4: 3 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Layer 5: 4 1/4" x 3/4" Strip, cut with scissors to make the "v"

For card 14, the Rose Gold die cut layer came from a 1" strip on both sides of the 5 1/2" x 1 1/2" layer.
It is so pretty and shiny in real life!

Need this kit?  Here's the shopping list for what I used on all 29 cards.  I still have a ton leftover!

See you tomorrow for another batch!

Love,
Selene

  1. You are most welcome for the comments. I LOVE #13 with #14 right behind and #12 jockeying for position. Oh sorry, got caught up with the Derby debacle. That Midnight Navy paper with the Rose Gold is just soooo pretty.
