What an absolute joy this journey has been for the past 10 years. Last night I noticed that I have reached One MILLION hits on my blog here! WOW!!
It's been a whirlwind month or two!
- My amazing friends and I raised over 6000 for breast cancer and making strides.
- I travelled to New Jersey for Stampin' Up's onstage event and awards ceremony. I was SHOCKED to find out that world wide, out of 45,000 demonstrators I placed number 88!
- I hosted an event for 40 amazing, talented crafters and enjoyed classes from my friends.
If you asked me 10 years ago if i would make this amazing, wonderful, joyful hobby into a full time career, I would say no way.
However, that's exactly what happened. Every single one of you matters to me! I just want to say thank you. I would love to buy you all a gift!! Since, that's a little outside my budget, instead I'd like to offer some blog candy!
Leave me a comment and tell me your favorite stamping technique and/or a technique you'd like to learn more about and/or your favorite holiday tradition below. Let me know if you're a regular reader or brand new! The amazing friends I have met in the course of my journey and the opportunity to share what i love with all of you is a total blessing to me and i'm so grateful.
So leave me a little bit of love here and I'll draw one winner to win the tin of tags card kit and stamp set this weekend!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your part in my journey.
Love,
Selene Kempton

Congratulations Selene! I haven't had much time for stamping the last few years, but when I do I get my inspiration from you and your blog! Thank you for sharing with us-you're #1 in my books, but #88 is pretty awesome out of all the demonstrators!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved masking, but there are so many techniques I love!

ReplyDeleteCongrats to you on being #88 in the WORLD!!! Way to go. I love your blog, and tho I don't always comment, I do enjoy all your projects and inspiration. I'd like to learn more about spotlighting. I don't know why that technique is so hard for me. I guess I'm afraid I'll screw it up. Congrats again.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all your cool endeavors! I love fancy folds or at least different ones as well as 3D treat holders. I am not always the best with measuring so I love tips to help me do a better job. Actually I like to learn lots of different techniques and well, just different stuff in general! Does this all count?
ReplyDeleteAgain, congrats on all your accomplishments!

ReplyDeleteChristmas cinnamon coffee cake is made every year. The recipe is a family recipe that is past down thru the generations. I already have it made and in the freezer waiting for Christmas morning.

ReplyDeleteHappy to have met you in the airport and to now be able to call you my friend. The TSA girl :)
Selene, what a major accomplishment to be in the top 100. I've been honored to have known you you for the past 3 years. Live our get together (although I'm unable to make them all). I've been a stamper for many years but it was you who brought out the real creative side of me. I've learned so much by attending your classes and events. Thank you for that. One of my favorite techniques is sponging, just love how that brings out the images. As far as learning new techniques, you know me I'm always looking to learn something new.
ReplyDeleteAnywho, again congratulations on both major accomplishments..
Selene you are amazing! Congratulations

Congratulations! I enjoyed meeting you at a Portsmouth crop last year, and it re-invigorated my stamping efforts. Over the years, I've purchased lots of tools, which I promptly forget how to use. :) So, every technique is always new!
