Technostamper Sketch Challenge

I was excited when I saw Mary Jo's sketch this week. I've been making some cards with the new designer paper from Stampin' Up! that uses 4 hearts to make a flower. When I saw the circle on her sketch, i thought this would round out my collection nicely. Circles are in this week... it seems many sketch sites have circles this week. By the time I'm done, I'll just need a box, and I'll be ready to sell these cool cards as a boxed set. :)

I cut into the flower 4 times, to separate the flower a bit, then I manipulated the paper with my fingers to get the flower to stand up from the middle a bit.

I used a chocolate chip brad in the center of the flower.

Next I cut two hearts using the new scalloped heart die. I attached the white one to some scrap paper, and punched it out using the large heart punch.

Finally, I stamped the word friend and punched it out. I layered two punches behind it to frame it a bit.

If you've never played along with Mary Jo, I encourage you to try it out. Her sketches are phenomenal!

Here's a photo of the trio of cards i've done so far. I would like to do one more, then maybe make a box. Fun times!
