Stampin Up! 2016 Rollout Event! Sneak Peek Going Global Stamp Set

I'm so excited about the catalog rollout event on Sunday!  Here is a sneak peek of one of the projects from the Going Global Stamp set.

The directions set will come with complete directions and full supply list.

I got some questions about this event and I thought I'd answer them here.

Q. What is this event?

A. This event is one that I designed to support my downline.  The 16 cards have been broken down into 4 separate classes that can be copied for months to come.  It comes with instruction sheets, that have a printable shopping list on the back to your email by January 11th.  I also do a video for each of the four project sets.

The project sheets are not marked with my name and may be used with your customers to teach at in person classes.  You may give one of the project sheets for each $50 order.

Each class features one stamp set and one designer paper from the new catalogs that go live on January 5th.

Q. What comes with my to go packet?

A. For each class that you receive in the package, you have four individual cards, packaged in their envelope, sealed up and labeled in its own cello bag.  So you will know which kit goes with which stamp set.  You need to have your own stamps, ink, and a few punches.  See below for the complete supply list.

I have a few packets left.  This event is limited to the first 44 kits.

12/23 Stampin' Up Grand Vacations Achievers Blog Hop DECEMBER ~ Bring on the Bling with Wink of Stella!

Greetings Friends!

Where ever you may be joining us from, welcome to my little piece of cyber space and the Stampin' Up Mediterranean Cruise Achievers Blog Hop! You may have been coming from my friend Connie's blog!  (Can't believe I have to follow Connie, wasn't her project cute??)

My name is Selene Kempton and I'm from a little town north of Boston in Massachusetts called Dracut, phonetically speaking (Dray-cut).

I am so excited to see what all my Stampin Friends come up with for the "Bring on the Bling" Challenge today.  As for me, when I heard the theme, I knew that I wanted to introduce you to this sneak peek product, that will be released to Stampin' Up customers on January 5th with the launch of the new catalogs!  (happy dance)

I was so excited at founder circle when I got my very first wink of Stella glitter brush! This new product from Stampin' Up is so fun to play with.

I still remember the night we got them.  Some of the demonstrators got the gold brush, and some got clear!  I was ready to play.  We were having some fun with rub on tattoo's and my friend Erica Cerwin added some glitter to make it more pretty!

So, that day I learned that the ~ directions say ~ that it's not makeup and you are not SUPPOSED to put it on your skin.  ~ Disclosure it was on top of a tattoo, and I lived to write this post today!  I don't typically read directions anyway!

I love all things that sparkle and shine, but I have to say that I absolutely LOVE that this one isn't messy.  You get a controlled dash of sparkle where ever you need it and it dries up in a quick minute!

So here are the "must know directions" for people like me who like less words.  :)

  1. See the black ring?  That must be removed before the glitter will come out!  :)
  2. After taking the black ring out, screw the two pieces back together, then PULL the cap straight off.  It is NOT a twist off cap.
  3. Add glitter to your project where ever you want no fuss, no muss!

I know the photo above doesn't really show the glitter. Let me tell you!!  When the light catches the balloons at just the right angle!  It's magic!  Poof!  So beautiful!!

One more little trick for you today.  I love this tulle style ribbon from Stampin Up.  I cut a piece about 5 1/2" inches long, then stick it to both back sides of the strawberry color.  Then, I cut two more pieces about 4" each and tie them on.  I fluff them and cut them at an angle so they end up looking fluffy and sharp.

Thank you so much for being a part of our blog hop today by visiting!  Be sure to check out all the awesome designers!  You won't be sorry!

Merry Christmas to you and yours or Happy Holidays if you celebrate a different holiday. Wishing you all the peace and joy that can come to your heart.

Love,
Selene Kempton

11/29 Stampin' Up Embellished Ornaments, Last Day of the Extravaganza Sale!

Good Evening friends!

It's been quite the week with this crazy awesome sale that Stampin' Up! has going on!  There has already been a few items that have sold out completely!

I made this sweet card with the bow builder punch, which is only on sale for 1 more day at half off (while supplies last)  Several of the items have already sold out completely.

To make this bow, you need to punch the red foil paper twice and the big tip here is that I punched the 2nd layer of the card to get that cool bow.  So underneath the base is some holes that no one will see, and it can be our little secret that there's holes under there at all!

I have a complete shopping list for this card at the bottom of this post!

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Layer 2: Red Foil Card Stock 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Layer 3: Whisper White Thick Card Stock, cut to 5 x 3 3/4"
Layer 4: 1/4" x 3 3/4" red foil strip
The layers for the punches (that came from layer 2) shhhh.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Stampin Up Snowman and Work of Art Stamp Set

Hello Friends!

Had a team gathering last night.  We meet monthly for a little bit of training and some stamping fun!  This was my swap card.

I saw something similar to it on Pinterest  and decided to make my own version.  Boy, it's so easy to make!

How about some measurements first?

Thick Whisper White, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2, scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Layer 2: Real red 5 1/4" x 4"
Layer 3: Thick Whisper White 5 x 3 3/4"
Layer 4: Leaf made with the bird punch and scraps of Old Olive card stock.
5: Floral punch with Real Red Glimmer paper
6: Snowflake embellishments

Steps:

  1. Stamp the nose in pumpkin pie ink using the heart image so that the heart looks like a nose.
  2. Using the small circle, stamp the eyes and nose next.
  3. Using the thick swash image, stamp the top of the hat, then add the hat rim with the long thin stripe
  4. Next, using real red ink, stamp the curved thick swash three times (as shown) so that it looks like a scarf.
  5. Add the embellishments.  Start with the snowflake embellishment using glue dots.  Add the leaf from the bird punch and the red glimmer paper flower using glue dots as well.
  6. Add a self adhesive rhinestone in the middle of your flower.
  7. Finish sticking the layers together and you are done!  :)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Need to make this snowman card?

Below is a shopping list the items I used to make it.  Check out (min order $25) using host code: JHSEUQJT
and you'll receive a this month's card kit for free! (please remember NOT to choose no contact or I will have no idea who placed the order).  Click here for more details and to register for that.
