3/30 See Ya Later, Sale-A-Bration Sendoff, Calipso Coral Banner Add On Kit

Good Evening Friends!

I promised my family a work free day, so my post is a little late today.  I can't believe Sale A Bration is all done as of tomorrow!

Don't miss out on getting your favorite sale-a-bration rewards.  It all ends Monday!

I have been a busy little bee this week helping my friends with their orders.  If there's something you need.  Tomorrow, Monday March 31st is the LAST DAY for you to pick up the items you want!  This stamp set is by far my favorite set, See Ya Later.

For fun last week, I paired this set up with a The Calypso Coral Banner Add On Kit  intended to add onto banners.  I think it would make an AWESOME kit for scrapbooking or card making.  It comes with tissue paper and a spritzer for adding ink and rubbing alcohol, to color the tissue.  It comes with a bunch of 6x6" paper, ready to be cut and layered, plus a whole bunch of precut, sticky cardstock stickers.  Stamp, stick and go!  It's really a wonderful kit!
Here's the front of the kit.. I just love the pre-stitched embellishment, that leaves you so many possibilities!  The kit is only $9.95 and comes with all of this fun stuff!!

Coordinating colors: Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Crumb Cake

■ 4 sheets of 12" x 12" self-adhesive streamers—cut to fit
■ 12' stitched garland
■ 2 sheets of die-cut accents, 1 sheet ea. 12" x 12" and 7" x 12"
■ 12 sheets of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
■ Stampin’ Spritzer for coloring streamers (use with Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills, sold separately)

I added on a little bit of Gold Bakers Twine to match. This card makes me happy. The pre-stitched garland gives any card just the right bit of pizzaz!

For this sweet card, I just cut the designer paper into one inch squares and arranged them on the card.  I love the fun 1/8" banner behind the birthday sentiment!

I'm digging this love card!  a quick and sweet card!
See Ya Later Alligator, Sale-A-Bration is almost done!  Don't miss out on your favorite sets!

All online orders, and those who choose to join my team by the end of the month, will receive three class tutorials (19 projects in total) as my thank you!  The classes were designed by my dear friend Ronda and I, so you get the benefit of both of our styles of stamping.

Good Morning Friends!

I hope you're enjoying the Sale-A-Bration Project Parade. Today, I have two sweet projects to share with you using the You're Lovely Stamp Set.  This card also uses the SAB sweet sorbet designer paper and the super sweet Decorative Dots embossing folder!

My base layer is crisp cantaloupe 11 x 4 1/4", scored and folded in half at 5 1/2"
Layer 2: Very vanilla 5 x 3 3/4"
Layer 3: 1 x 3 3/4" piece of Sweet sorbet designer paper, sponged with soft suede ink
Layer 4 is a 1 x 4 inch strip of very vanilla
Layer 5 is a piece of very vanilla, stamped with the You're Lovely Stamp set, colored with crisp cantaloupe ink, and sponged.  so pretty!!

The second share for today is a card that was inspired by my friend Carol Hickman.  She created a card for swapping at leadership, and I flipped her design a little bit, but I just love the colors Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla and Gold.  Isn't it lovely?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

3/28 Stampin Up Petal Parade, Sale-A -Bration sendoff.

Good Morning Friends!

I have a long post for you today!  The Sale-A-Bration sendoff parade continues today, with Petal Parade.  This stamp set is only available through Monday and is free with any $50 purchase.  I have used this Pretty and simple card for so many events this month, I'm so happy to share it here with you!  It uses the soon to be retired 2012-2014 In Colors!

I started with the large flower from Petal parade, and stamped it on my whisper white layer (5 x 3 3/4") four times with Primrose Petals Ink.  I think the Primrose is the color I am going to miss the most, and I plan to stock up on it, as it will be gone in a month or so.

Then I grabbed my sentiment and stamped that in Raspberry Ripple.  I stamped that first, so that when I added the top flower randomly, right on top in Raspberry Ripple Ink Right on top!
When I was making this card, I took a stroll down memory lane and remembered that last year, when Stampin' Up announced that the In Colors were retiring, many of my customers who had invested in ink pads missed out on getting reinkers because they were sold out within days of being announced!

This year, I was thinking that I should let you know to pick up your In Colors now, while you can still get them.  The minute they announce the retirement list, it seems they sell out!
I came up with this package for my customers.  So, you would not miss out!

This second card is SO beautiful!  I noticed in the sale-a-bration paper Sweet Sorbet, that there was a lighter blue, that was not represented in the colors that were advertised.  Soft Sky!  Seriously, one of my favorite colors! The base of this card was made with soft sky.  It makes such a stark contrast against the basic black that comes right up against it in the designer paper.  I added a sweet Scalloped tag with our EASY AS PIE tag punch, and stamped on it!  The get well soon comes from one of my favorite sentiment sets, Delightful Dozen.  It layers so pretty on top of the soft sky ink.  {swoon}
My final project share is a case (copy and steal everything) from my friend Ronda.  We made these at my quarterly downline training a few months ago!  This is so pretty.  I love the layout, sentiment!  All of it!
I hope these projects leave you inspired.   With the end of Sale-A-Bration here, I've been getting lots of questions!! So here are the answers to some of the questions!

More Info About Retiring In Colors
To answer questions I got back about the in colors here yesterday.  Every year, we lose 5 special colors that are following the latest trends for fashion, and paper crafting.  It's so funny that when you go into the store and see a sweater, it might just match the last ink pad you purchased.

If you purchased one of the 5 In Color Ink Pads, now would be an excellent time to protect your investment by getting a re-inker to keep your pad fresh!  To make things even easier, I have made a chart below with item numbers and links.  Check your stash to see if you have one of these colors, and stock up on things like matching cardstock too.  Sometime in April, or early May, Stampin' Up will release the retirement list, and then things like re-inkers, paper, and matching ribbon typically sell out in days, if not hours!

During Sale A Bration is an amazing time to pick up all the items you need and below I came up with a bundle that comes to $57.45 before tax and shipping.  That means you'd also qualify for a sale a bration Free item!

I got quite a few requests yesterday to spell out what's going away a bit better after I sent out my monthly news letter!   I listened and have done all the work for you to find the item numbers.  A complete listing of in color items may be found on page 140 of the idea book and catalog.  If you dont have one, I'll be happy to mail one out to you!  Here are the direct links to refill your products.  Please note that ANY $50 order between now and Monday will also get a free (little gifty) from me within the next week by mail.

Here's the bundle contents and links to the items:
*note ~ just click on the item number to see the item in my store:

3/27 Stampin Up, Sale-A-Bration Project Parade, Banner Blast

Good Morning Friends!

I have FOUR more cards to share with you today.  So, what good would the Banner Blast stamp set be without the cute little matching punch to go with it?  I absolutely love the versatility of this stamp set.  This first card is my absolute favorite of the lot.  I used the heart framelits to cut out 4 sparkly red hearts from Stampin' Up's real red Glimmer paper.  I cut the card a little short in the front so I could add a strip inside that would show through to the front.  The sweet paper doilies are acid free, so you can use them in your scrap booking and they will not deteriorate over time.

I just LOVE this card, it sparkles like Dorothy's ruby red slippers!

Are Congratulations in order?  This would be an awesome card for someone graduation, getting that promotion at work, or new baby!  I love when a card that is SO personal can be used for so many different occasions!

This one went together in just a few minutes!  It uses crumb cake and perfect plum.  It's been a long time since I used that color.  I'm not sure why, I love purple!  the other two colors that are stamped up in the banner are pear pizazz and  Marina Mist!  So simple and quick and beautiful!

This one really features my favorite pattern from the Sweet Sorbet designer paper from Sale a bration.  Friends would ink the flower  using the crisp cantaloupe marker, then they added tangerine tango to one side of each of the details on the flower.  So different and pretty!

All online orders, and those who choose to join my team by the end of the month, will receive three class tutorials (19 projects in total) as my thank you!  The classes were designed by my dear friend Ronda and I, so you get the benefit of both of our styles of stamping.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

3/26 Stampin' Up! Sweet Sorbet, Sale-A-Bration Designer Paper, See Ya Later Stamp Set Samples Part 2

Good Morning Friends!

I hope you liked yesterday's samples!  I have 3 more for you today!  I posted this one to my facebook group, Creating with Selene, back before Valentine's day.

My big brother Paul asked me to send one to him.  He says it says it all!  He gave this pretty little gem to his sweetie.  I think it would be AWESOME for multiple occasions.  This is one of those stamp sets that I'll be keeping long after it retires (on Monday).  I was thinking that the ribbon could make it for someone who has been touched by breast cancer.  Maybe a thank you card for someone taking another to treatments?  If you missed the baby card made with this stamp you can check it out here.  The colors on the project above are Pink Pirouette and Rich Razzlebery.   Such a girlie girl card, yes?

The second sample, I cased from my dear friend Ronda!  I've been working with her a lot, yes?  I serve as an admin and trainer for her Creating Success Training Program, and support her and our clients with training on how to build a healthy business.  Her business builders program has changed my life and my stamping business. For those on my team who want to build a business, I recommend her program highly.  In addition to her training, I provide monthly, scheduled, one on one calls for my downline.  I really believe in training for those who are interested in building a business.  It's no fun to fly without a flight plan!  Isn't this card she designed, darling?  I changed it a little (I can never make a card the same way twice it seems).
This card really shows off the Sweet Sorbet paper that we will be saying goodbye to on Monday!  I love the gorgeous, big, vintage button and the pretty ribbon (also a SAB reward).  The doily peeking out of the bottom of the panel gives it a nice touch! :)

And the Third sample is this birthday Card.  I just LOVE the colors in this designer paper from Stampin' Up!, called Birthday basics!  I grabbed 4 colors from the mix.  Blushing Bride, Bermuda Bay, Raspberry Ripple and Gumball green.  This is such a happy combination of color!
I hope that you feel inspired to create with your See Ya Later Stamp Set.  If you don't have it yet, it's not too late to get it for free!  If you want to pick it up, you can get it for free with any $50 purchase in my Stampin' Up Store.

Don't forget, that you will also get this free 19 project tutorial (shown below) with any online purchase!  All online orders, and those who choose to join my team by the end of the month, will receive three class tutorials (19 projects in total) as my thank you!  The classes were designed by me and my dear friend Ronda, so you get the benefit of both of our styles of stamping.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Tomorrow we will have a "blast" with two samples from the banner blast stamp set!  See Ya Later!

3/25 Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration send off, See Ya Later Stamp Set Samples Part 1

Good Morning Friends!

There's less than a week left to Sale-A-Bration.  It seems this year is FLYING by!!  I have LOADS of samples to share with you over the next week as we say goodbye to this year's Sale-A-Bration.

Are you ready for a project parade??  Well, sit back an enjoy over the next week and see some pretty awesome samples in action.  Also, know that this is the LAST week for you to get these stamps, paper and awesome accessories.  For a full listing (in pdf form) of the catalog click here.  The freebees start on page 11, and you can get one free with every $50 order.. That's the best sale of the year!

So here are three samples with the See Ya Later Stamp Set!  These are ONLY available as a free incentive item with a $50 order.  (before tax and shipping).

First, See Ya Later Alligator.  "in a while crocodile!"  I think of my big brother Paul when I see this stamp.  There are LOTS of Sale-A-Bration products on this card.  First the Lots of dots embossing folder, and the pretty designer paper Sweet Sorbet.  I can't seem to stop using this paper, it's so pretty!
Some other products include, the apothicary accents die and fringe scissors to make my "teeth" border down the side of the card.  Such a Happy Card!!

On to card number 2.   I love the idea of taking a stamp, and using it for something it's not intended for.  The layout for this one was inspired by my sweet friend Ronda Wade.  She made a birthday card that looked similar to this one.  It inspired me to add baby toes and this beautiful sentiment, which I made Valentine's cards with this year.  I love how the baby toes changes the entire meaning of the card!

This one I've posted before.  If you want to check it out, and get all the details about the gorgeous layers and elements, you can link to that post here.
If you have been inspired by any of these samples and need some Sale-A-Bration items, you can pick up these things from my online store!  All online orders, and those who choose to join my team by the end of the month, will receive three class tutorials (19 projects in total) as my thank you!  The classes were designed by me and my dear friend Ronda, so you get the benefit of both of our styles of stamping.

I have already welcomed three new demonstrators into my team this week!  Come join the fun!
