9/12 Ready.Set.Shop!! Magnetic Platform Available AND Clearance Rack Just updated!

First Part of my post.. The Clearance Rack has been updated!!!

I have a card to share with you later, but Oh my gosh!  Can you say ribbon slides for $1.99 or packs of paper for 3 bucks?  Go check out all the steals in my online store clearance rack!! All items are while supplies last!  12 x 12 paper, scrapbooks!!  There's all sorts of things on Sale!!  Whoop!!

Magnetic Platform for BigShot now in stock and available to order in my Online Store.

Just a quick note to let you know that I now have this item in stock in my online store. It was so popular when it was first released that it sold out really quickly, but a new shipment is now available.

I'm sorry to those of you who used it in my studio and felt teased!  You can now, click here to order it in my online store.

So, what's the deal?  Was it really that popular?? Well, SU analyists that order products, underestimated the popularity by about 3000% so they were forced to turn the item off.

This item is for use with your Framelits and Thinlits and Edgelits and other cookie cutter style dies such as Nestabilities. The magnetic force holds the dies firmly in place against the paper or cardstock, so there is no slipping or need for adhesive or sticky notes when die cutting. I first saw it in action online, got to play with it (as have many of you). You can now get your own if you like!

If you want to see it in action you could check out this video from the stampin up home office on thinlits!

I'll be back later on to share a project with you!

9/11 Christmas Collectibles Bundle, Season Of Style Washi, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Modern Label Punch, Circle Framelits, hump day

Good Afternoon Friends!

Before I get started today, on a personal note I just want to take a moment to remember those who serve our country.  For all the hero's from 9/11 and everywhere every day.  It's really hard not to think about what happened 12 years ago today.  Also, for all the people who had to live without their family members.  Sending Love and Prayers for your comfort.

On a lighter note, it's a SMOKIN hot day here up in the mid to upper 90's!  When in New England, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute!  I'm a rebel, so I thought I'd share with you this AWESOME, Season of Style Washi Tape Christmas Card.
This card has a few products, so I'm going to start with a linked up shopping list for easier shopping in my store:
Stamps: Christmas Collectibles Bundle (ornament punch shown included), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Old Olive Ink Pad
Paper: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
Embossing Folder: Stylish Stripes
Accessories: Season of Style Washi Tape, Circles Collection Framelits, 1/8" Old Olive Ribbon, Modern Label Punch (sentiment),

Here are all the details about the card.

First of all, the Very Vanilla panel with Season of Style Washi Tape was cut to 4 1/4" x 3 1/4".  Then, I just started covering the panel with the Washi Tape.  It's so easy to use, when I go to the end of each line, I could rip it right off and have it be ready for the next one. I didn't need to use scissors to get it to tear.

Next, I tried a really large Circle punch, but NOPE!  The punch was no match for the Washi, so I pulled out my Circles Collection Framelits  to try cutting with that, and wallah, it worked like a champ.  I used the 3rd one in from the smallest.

So... you see layer 2 is very vanilla?  Well, I saved on some paper.  I stamped my "Merry Christmas" and my ornament on the very vanilla layer and punched it out.  I attached that layer to my base ~ holes and all.. Wicked Cool Stuff.  So I didn't actually require more paper or scraps.  :)

What day is it??? Can I get a Whoop Whoop??  The silly camel is my favorite commercial, I digress.

After I stamped and punched my two items, I sponged the Merry Christmas with the same Old Olive Ink.  I love that our goodies are set up to match.

I tied a bow and attached that to my ornament with a glue dot and added three Rhinestone Self Adhesive embellishments.
Those are a steal/deal at $4.95 for 150 plus 3 strips!

So finally how about some Measurements:
Base: Crumb Cake 8 1/2 x 5 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Layer 2: Very Vanilla 5 1/4" x 4 (note, i used this layer for the punched shapes on top too)
Layer 3: Cherry Cobbler 5 1/8 x 3 7/8", embossed with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder
Layer 4: Very Vanilla 4 1/4 x 3 1/4"

So you may be wondering what I did with the cut out of the center circle?  Oh, I made another cute card with that!  Tune in tomorrow to see the other half of what we did!!  That's my little bit of inspiration for today.  Thanks for stopping by!

9/9 Stampin' Up! Special Season Christmas Card

Good Evening Friends,

My post is a little late today.  On a personal note, the first full week of school was last week, but I have a feeling that this week is going to be a little more intense for my 3rd grader who is quickly realizing that everything that you want to do well is going to take a little bit of elbow grease.  Today is her first day back to dance, she's taking 4 classes this year.  I'm praying that it's not too much for her to handle and tackle her studies too. She has good study habits when she chooses to apply herself.

Some day's it's hard for all of us to find that get up and go!  So now, I get a few moments to myself and the opportunity to share today's stamping inspiration with you.

In the spirit of "old school hard work" I thought I'd share this gorgeous, vintage feeling card.  Although the chevron ribbon updates it a little, wouldn't you say?
Super clean and simple, here are some measurements:
Base layer: Crumb Cake Card Stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Layer 2: Crumb Cake Card Stock 5 1/4" x 4" (same color, but sponged with Chocolate chip ink)
Layer 3: 6" piece of Chocolate chip Chevron Ribbon
Layer 4: Chocolate Chip 4 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Layer 5: Whisper white 4 1/8" x 2 1/8"

The beautiful Christmas Tree comes from the Special Season Stamp Set, and was inked with artichoke and chocolate chip markers.  To make it easy, I stamped the sentiment (same stamp set) from the chocolate chip ink pad.  Here's a peek at this gorgeous Special Season Stamp Set.

I added 2-way glue to the areas that I wanted to catch some glitter, then added dazzling diamonds to the old school lamps that are on this pretty tree.

So, I had a few people ask about ordering from my blog and on my site.  When you hover and click on any of the products above, it will transport you to my stampin up store.  I try and make it easy for those who want to order to be just a click away.  Thanks to all of you who have chosen me to be your Stampin' Up demonstrator, for those who visit daily, and for everyone who leaves me a little encouragement (comments).  You inspire me to keep posting, so thank you!!  I am very grateful to you all.

That's my little bit of inspiration for today.  Thanks for visiting!

9/8 Simply Sunday, Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kits from Stampin Up!

Good Afternoon Friends!

I hope you're having a Super Sunday!  We are here watching the Patriots and I thought I'd pop in for today's inspiration.  So for Simply Sunday, I thought, It doesn't get any easier than this AWESOME little kit!
This AWESOME card kit comes with enough supplies to make 8 cute Christmas cards and envelopes, with the precut, pre-done envelope liners, yeah buddy!  (ink and adhesive is sold separately).  I used a Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green Marker to ink up the stamp, then stuck it together!    I made up all 8 cards in one kit and it took me about a half hour total!

It comes with 8 of everything you see here, including the cute envelope liners!   Talk about Simple!  The kits are $9.95 each.  It is also available as a BUNDLE to include the stamp Set!

Here's the clear mount link to the bundle which is only $17.95!  Once you have the stamp set, you'd just need the kits to make up the extra cards.  So easy!  Thank you Stampin' Up!

If you don't already have one, you'd need a "d" block for the stamp set

Here's a photo of the bundle.  There are 3 different stamps in the set.  The flourish, the sentiment and the pretty border.
Well, that's my little bit of inspiration to share today.  It's a glorious day outside!  I hope you had some time to enjoy it!  Until tomorrow!

Thank you for stopping by!

9/6 Joy To the World and Festive Flurry Framelits, Sparkly Snowflake card with Silver Glimmer Paper.

Good Afternoon Friends!

It's thank you card day!  I actually try and send a card every single time someone orders from me and with the stamp camps and classes I've held this week. I was in need of some thank you's.
This card actually goes together in just a few minutes! and has a pretty sort list of supplies.

How about if I start with some measurements.  This one is very basic.
Base Layer: Whisper white 8 1/2 x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4
Layer 2: Whisper white 5 1/4 x 4
Layer 3: Silver Glimmer paper cut to 4 x 4, then I used the smallest and largest snowflakes from the the Festive Flurry Framelits to cut my "holey" snowflake.   when it came time to cut, I just put the two framlits on the one die and cut both snowflakes at the same time.  I used the extra inside piece to make another card.. (maybe I'll show you that one tomorrow.

Here's a close up of the Beautiful Center of the card.  It's so stunning in person, I'm not sure the photo does it justice here.
I used my heat tool on setting one to dry the Silver Ink because it stays a little tacky, before debossing the layer 2 with the snowflake embossing folder.  I used glue dots to attach the Frosted Finishes Embellishments in the middle of the snowflake.  They are awesome in real life!!

Here's a supply list if you need it.
Stamps: Joy to the world stamp set,
Ink: Silver Ink Pad
Paper: Whisper white, Silver Glimmer paper
Accessories: the Festive Flurry Clear Mount Bundle, Silver Ribbon 1/8", Frosted Finishes Embellishments

That's my little bit of inspiration to share with you today!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  The weather here is starting to feel like fall, so maybe we will hit the orchard to grab some fresh apples!  I love this time of year!

9/5 All Bundled Up with the Festive Flurry Clear Mount Bundle

Good Afternoon Friends!

I'd like to share a little bit of inspiration for you from my classes today using the Festive Flurry Clear Mount Stamp Set!  We made this stunner at heat and stick stamp camp this morning!
I have one more session tonight at 6:30 if you're interested in coming.  Here's the link to sign up.

This class is so much fun and by the end you'll sparkle!  Just $15 for 4 cards (waived with a minimum order, of course).  I think this card was the easiest, and most impressive of the bunch.

Base layer: Soft Sky 5 1/2 x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4"
Layer 2: Whisper white 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

Layer 5: 5" silver ribbon (both applied with two glue dots to the back)
Layer 6 & 7: Same ribbons tied in a bow using my friend Lee Conrey's bow maker.

9/1 Stampin up Simply Sunday, Color Me Christmas and Christmas Messages Stamps

Good Morning Friends!

It's so dark in the studio today that I'm having trouble getting a nice clean shot of this GORGEOUS clean and simple card!  Please forgive the photo.  I hope you can get the details!

The card features the Color Me Christmas Stamp Set paired up with Christmas Messages Sentiment Stamp Set.  Totally cute!!

So, let's jump right in with measurements
Layer 2: Cherry cobbler card stock, 4 1/4" x 1 1/4"
Layer 3: Cherry Cobbler Striped DSP, (from the paper stack) 4 1/4  x 1"
Top layer is whisper white scrap
And about 16" of the 5/8" organza from Stampin up!

So super simple!!
I stamped the sentiment first, and the present next.  All with Cherry cobbler and black markers.
Then I stamped a present on scrap, colored it in, cut it out with a white border!

That's my little bit of inspiration for you for today!  I hope you make it a great day!
