Color Challenge CC157

Every Tuesday on Split coast stampers they have a color challenge. Today I had some time to try it. I used crystal effects mixed with reinkers on the ribbon slide and i'm not sure that you can see the crystal effects on the flowers in the photo.

Stamps: Artfully Asian
Paper: Pomegranate Basic Black, Basic Grey
Ink: Black Stazon, Pomegranate, garden green
Accessories: Ribbon Slide, Crystal Effects, Reinker
Techniques: crystal effects on paper and hardware? not sure that's a technique LOL

Celebrate Rubons

Yes, ANOTHER rubon card. I thought i was being sneaky... See... This is a 4 1/4" square card, which means it fits the regular issue Stampin' Up! medium envelopes and even though it would have a little room in there it would not require extra postage.
You may not be able to see it from the photo, but the rubons look FLAWLESS on the whisper white textured cardstock. So pretty.
BUT WAIT A SECOND! I HAD to add that pretty thick button on there.. (stamped with the build a flower set that i'm loving these days) and i made the card more than 1/4 inch thick... so i'll have to pay the extra postage anyway.... Oh well. I really do like square shaped cards and I think i'll be making more of this size in particular. Too cute!
Only a week left to get these gorgeous rubons. Sale-A-Bration ends next Monday.

Sketch Challenge ~ Beautiful Blue ~ Rubons on an embossed image

I had three leftover embossed flowers from "the beautiful thing" class here last week. I love how the eastern elegance rub ons, go right over the embossed image! So easy, so pretty, and JUST COOL!

My poor daughter has been sick since last Thursday, so I was really zenning for some stamp time. Every week on Splitcoaststampers.com they have challenges. This was a sketch challenge (sc166) .

I need to do these more, I had fun, and I LOVE this set!

The ONE Minute Card ~ Rub-On's, Rhinestones, and Ribbon, Oh my!

Who needs to spend two hours making a card?? I don't! Look at how easy this card is! It doesn't get more simple than this. Yet the rub-on's make it so easy to make a quick card!

Have I told you that I LOVE rub-ons?
